To address the challenges posed by high-viscosity materials, JNC adopts the following specialized design and manufacturing measures for our rotary valves to ensure smooth operation without jamming:
Optimized Clearance Between Rotor and Housing
We precisely control the clearance between the rotor and the housing to prevent rotor seizure even if a small amount of material remains inside.
Rotor Type Selection
We recommend using scraper-type rotors or open-end rotor structures to reduce the risk of material sticking and clogging.
Special Surface Treatments or Internal Coatings (Optional)
For particularly sticky or caking-prone materials, we offer:
(1) PTFE (Teflon) coating – for anti-stick and anti-caking performance
(2) Ceramic coating – for abrasion resistance and anti-stick properties
(3) Nickel-phosphorus plating – for high hardness and smooth surface
Variable Feed Speed Control (when equipped with motor)
A variable speed system can be used to reduce the rotation speed, decreasing material retention time in the rotor and lowering the risk of sticking.
